John Anderson Ivie. Born 1805, Franklin County, GA. Married Anna Robinson. Died 25 Dec 1882, Montague, Texas.

An Elder and President of the Salt River Branch in 1832, and a member Zion's Camp, 1834. We have no record of church connections after this, and know next to nothing about him. He was apparently a Campbellite minister in Adair county in the 1850's. He died in Montague county, Texas, not far from where his sister Elizabeth Ivie Allred died in 1870,

John A. and Anna IVIE were in Adair Co, MO, Kirksville in 1860; John & Anna were in Benton Co, AR in 1870 and after that in Montague Co, TX.
